So Far So Good!

Yeah - Look at me 2 posts in the New Year!

I went to the gym today again! 2nd day in a ROW!! I know I know everyone is so proud of me! LOL

I told Matt he need to FORCE me to go to the gym. So he does he is great at that. Friday I did NOT want to go to the gym but he was awesome and kept on pushing me to go. Then today after work I went home and "PREPARED" myself to go lol, he then got home and said Are - (then corrected himself) We ARE going to the Gym at 6:00 and we went! It's great he goes and pumps the weights while I walk on the treadmill.

I did cheat today though I did have an ice cream cone - I know I know second day into the year and I already cheated But it was so good and worth it so Monday I will double what I walked today! So the gym part of my Goals is doing good - But the rest so far..... well that blog thing is so far doing great too..... LOL Dang I am GOOD lol Well I think I need to find more things to post about then just what I did that day. So If any of you have any suggestions leave me a comment or send me an e-mail on post topics!

2010 Here We Come!

Alright January 1, 2010 my last post was on July 19th WOW that is so so so long ago.

Goals for this year - then updates (don't know how many there will be....we will see)

Lexi's 2010 Goals!
1. Lose Weight! Ha Ha isn't that like EVERYONES Goal Well I am going to do it!
2. Stay on top of my Nails Website (Update it more often)
3. Keep a Clean House! (Wow that's going to be tuff with Matt LOL) Love ya babe!
4. Have a Full Steady Clientele - Some things may be out of my hands but I will try my hardest
5. Get Scentsy Going!
6. Go to the Gym
7. Get Published more in the NAILS Magazine
8. Blog more!

Alright there they are! Goals are done for the year! Hopefully I will be adding to them and Crossing some off cause I have finished before the year's end. Some of these are Personal and some are Business!!

Update!

Well - I got published in the November Issue of NAILS Magazine! We went to Las Vegas and Palm Dale, California for Thanksgiving. It was Matt's first time going to Las Vegas. Wow he loved it and we had so much fun. Vegas has changed so much from the last time that I was there which was dang forever ago. Then we headed over to my uncles house in California that was fun to go over there with my family and see my uncles new house! Then we went to Universal Studios and had fun over there. We saw a cut out of Vin Diesel and wow we took a picture of Matt next to it Matt is HUGE!!! Matt wanted to get the size of Vin Diesel - well he reached that goal and much more!

Then we had Thanksgiving at my uncles house fun stuff one of the other people that came to dinner brought this AMAZING drink Blood Orange Soda - BEST SODA IN THE WORLD I was doing so good at not drinking soda until then LOL and of course you can only get it at Trader Joes which of course Utah does not have one. So on our way home we stopped in Vegas to pick some up and what do you know.... the Trader Joes we went to did NOT have it - I swear it was the only drink that was out. Well my mom stopped and got me some on her way home from California Thank Goodness!!!

Well more updates - I got called to be the Secretary of the Primary of my church! Wow what a calling. It is great! Busy busy right now but Great Fun!!!

Well I really think that is it if I think of anything else I will post it cause I am going to be blogging more!!!

Finally an Update

WOW!!
I know it’s been like 4 MONTHS since I have updated! So here we go!

I’ll start with Matt! He is doing great, working hard and of course I can not forget he is working out harder then ever, since about December of ’08 his arms have grown about 2 inches. He is now at 19inches!!! HUGE! He is getting to Buff! His Back oh my gosh it’s huge! Well, I guess not much else. He has just been working so hard.

Now with Me! Well I moved salons in March! It was scary to move but it has been AWESOME!! I have been there since March and in 4 months I have more then TRIPLED my clientele. Oh my gosh let me tell this has been the best move and best decision ever! (Well, almost best decision) But WOW 4 months!! The owners of Tame Your Mane and A Cut Above have been awesome! It’s been great working so much but also kinda weird! Just cause for a year and a half I have not really been busy and to be busy that fast has kinda been exhausting but it’s been great! So work has been GREAT! So really for the past 4 months that is all I have really been doing working working working!

Matt and I had our 1 year anniversary on the 4th of April! It’s a great year! And wow total 4 years together!

Matt had his birthday in May, we had a great day together. We went and bought him some things for working out. Gloves, wrist straps, work out bag and PROTIEN.

My parents left for three weeks in June to tour Europe.

July 4th! Well we didn’t really do much we went out and saw Hangover! That was a GREAT SHOW! Loved it!

We had the Ball Family Reunion this past weekend. It was great headed up to Heber in 100 degree weather with no A/C wow that sucked. But we got there in record time! Thanks to Victoria. We ate, played games and talked! It was great fun. We played a game that you had to write something down that no one knew about you and everyone had to guess what it was. So someone wrote “I have been in a gang” well my aunt shouted out MATT! Oh my gosh is was so funny. P.S. NO HE HAS NEVER BEEN IN A GANG!

Well, there is not much to update I think!

First Off!

I was contacted by the Editor of Nails Magazine in November '08. She asked me to do 5 Nail Tips with Valentines Nail Art on them and they would be in the February Issue of Nails Magazine. So I finished them just in time and sent them off. (They had to be in a couple of days before Thanksgiving)

So I had been waiting and waiting for February to get here and it has now past!

Second!

Hmm…. I told you we haven't really done much!

-Matt got promoted at work! (Nice!! More money!)

-I am getting busier at work! (Always Nice!)

-I have been hired to help clean and organize a family member's basement but yet can not keep my own place organized and cleaned!! LOL Funny how that works! I am trying hard though to keep on top of it!

-My Parents, Matt and I Joined a Gym very close to our house! The first week I did good, and then kinda went down from there LOL I know, I know, I know I need to go! I am trying to stay on top of it!

WOW! Christmas I can’t believe it’s here and now gone!

On Christmas Eve we got P.J’s from Santa’s Christmas Elf’s. They are so cute they match! So then on Christmas Day we woke up early because Matt was going snowboarding with some of my cousins, so we woke up early to open presents with My Dad and Mom. It was really really different this year. Holidays are ROUGH! Anyway... Matt and I gave my mom different Salad Plates that she has wanted. (What?? I am sure some of you are wondering!) There was this lady that was in our ward and every time we would have a Shower or Relief Society Function at her house she would have all different kinds of Salad Plates on a cute Plate Rack! Every time my mom went to one and she saw those she wanted them! So I got them for her! Dad got a HUGE Calculator and a Gift Card to Macys. Matt got clothes and money to go snowboarding from my parents, I gave him socks, white t-shirts, and a Coffee Maker! He loved it! Santa gave him Step Brothers and an Electric Tooth Brush! I got clothes and money for more clothes that I NEED! Matt gave me Shirts that he picked out all by himself, Slippers and the New Britney Spears CD! Santa gave me The Dark Night and an Electric Tooth Brush!! So after we opened presents Matt got ready to go snowboarding. So while he was out snowboarding my Mom, Dad and I went over to my cousin’s house to see what his little boy got from Santa! Then my Mom, Dad, Aunt and I went to go see Four Christmases. So funny! I loved it!

So Matt went to Snowbird and he had an alright time! He said it was just a BLIZZARD up there. After he came home and cleaned up we went over to my other Aunts house had some dinner and play a weird game I don’t know what the name of it is but it was weird! Ha Ha Ha!

Well that was our Christmas Day! It was fun!

Gingerbread Houses!

On Sunday the 21st of December we went to the State Capital and took Family Pictures! It was fun! I guess earlier that day my cousins son bit his lip as he fell and cut his lip so he had to go get stitches so he was not a happy camper. But he did pretty good with the pictures. Sara and Pete were there with their cute little addition to the family! Hailey! She is the cutest little girl in the world! And Nash is just a little cutie! He did great!

After pictures everyone came over to the house minus Troy, Colton and Pete! Where do you think they were....Watching SPORTS! Anyway so everyone came to the house for Chili, Soup and more! We ate and then decorated Gingerbread Houses! They were so fun!

So my mom set this puzzle out for everyone to do! LOL Never got touched!

Christmas Mice

These little Christmas Mice are what I gave my Clients this year for Christmas!

They are the cutest thing in the world! One of my girlfriends saw them on Studio 5 (Morning show here in utah) and told me about them so I looked them up and I just had to do them for my clients!

So they are made up of:

• 1 maraschino cherry with stem • 1 chocolate candy kiss • Chocolate almond bark or dipping chocolate • 2 peanut halves • 1 tiny red candy ball • 2 silver dragées (candy balls)

Then I made this little saying to go with it!

So I have decorated the house!! (Well, Basement Apartment!)

It looks so good!

It's been done for awhile but I haven't been able to post the pictures. So here they are!

Something funny about the TREE! We bought it Three years ago at KMart and The White Tree was $70 and the Color Tree was $140... so we bought the White Tree! That Saturday after we bought the Tree I spent all Saturday Decorating the Apartment and I took out the White Lights and replaced with Color Lights! I know I am CRAZY!!! But it looks so good!

Twilight!

It was GREAT!! I [loved] it!!

I was not sure if I was going to like it at all because I did not like who they picked for Edward. But WOW was I wrong. As soon as I saw him WOW he looked so good. (Of Course NO ONE compares to MATT!!) But WOW did he ever look good. I loved all his little {smirks}!

But of course as always the BOOK was 10 Times Better! Nothing will ever beat that! Yes, there were some sences that I laughed in but other then those I loved it!

If only there was a guy that said HALF of the things he said to her! Love it!

Well, My Two Cents! Can not WAIT till it comes out on mive. I think I am going to have a Twilight Party!! So I know its far in advance but if you want to come leave me a note!!

I will have pictures from that night posted later! My Girlfriend and I waited in line for FOUR hours!! Totally worth sitting your BUTTS in the Cold!!

Plastic Pumpkin Containers!!

So for a while Matt was putting his empty Work Out Drink Containers on my craft table and I didn’t know why and I didn’t know what to do with them......

So Matt suggested that I make a Pumpkin out of them. So I took the wrapper off of the container and then painted them orange, it took a couple of coats but it worked!

So while my mom was over visiting my cousin and her new baby over in Virginia, she missed the Annual Halloween Party put on by a neighbor! So my Dad and I wend to it. I was in charge of the dessert! So I made the Graveyard Pudding! It was so much fun to make! Look how cute it looks.

I saw this Idea on a local morning show here a couple weeks ago but they did a Halloween Altered Clock and I didn’t want Halloween I wanted something I could keep up all the time! So I took some left over paper from my Open House Guest Signing Book that I made and used it in our clock! I love it!

This is our FIRST anything LOL that has our, well my, new last name on it!!

I saw it at a local craft store and fell in love with the idea. So I rounded up a ton of 40% off coupons [Thanks to my Family] and grabbed Matt and headed off to the store!! LOL {He loves me!} I have not put the finished it yet but I love it so I had to hang it up! I am going to put under the name;

My parents were contacted by the Department of Health, awhile ago. The Department of Health was contacting parents of teens that have been killed in vehicle accidents. They put a book together about each teen and their story. They had a press conference awhile ago that my parents went to. The next day there was an article on the FRONT PAGE of the Davis Standard Examiner on Friday, September 12, 2008.

Meagan Auton, Chandler’s friend, called me Friday morning and told me that he was on the front page! So I called my mom and told her and she called the neighbor and got the paper from her.

First Annual Bowling Birthday Bash!!

Wow this was so much fun!

As most of you know my little brother Chandler passed away March 2007. So now that he is gone and we are starting to get little ones in our family again, my mom didn’t want anyone to forget who he was. So we have decided to have a Bowling Birthday Party every year. Chandlers Birthday is on September 6 and my Uncle Marks is on September 5 (He passed away March 2002) and so since their birthdays were so close together we couldn’t leave him and out, and my Aunt Mello Dees Birthday is August 15 and since she passed away September of 1998 we couldn’t leave her out! So this is a Big Birthday Bash for all of them.

Wedding Open House!!!

Although we got married in April we didn’t have our Open House / Reception till August. It was supposed to be August of 2007 but because of my little brothers passing I just couldn’t handle it so we postponed it till 2008.

So it was awesome! I still do not have pictures yet I have not got them back from the photographer but as soon as I get them I will be putting them on!!

My little brother passed away on March 14, 2007 from a Motorcycle Accident. I still can not put in words how much I miss him. There is not a day that goes by that I think of him. His friends have been awesome in coming around and still keeping in contact with us.

Matt and I got married on April 4, 2008, but we have been together since January 2005! We met while I was working at Willey Ford as a Service Cashier. We went on a couple dates and have been inseparable since then. We have two babies! Boots and Gizmo they are 3 years old. (They are our Cats!! LOL)

I have always been against blogs, and look at me NOW!! HA HA HA I am making one! Well, 1 I want to keep in contact with my Family and Friends that don’t live in Utah!! I would just e-mail picture to everyone but as some one you may know we have the slowest internet at my parent’s house. DIAL-UP!! I know can you believe it DIAL-UP. So instead of taking HOURS to send pictures to everyone I am putting them on here so much easier!!
